Anna and Dan Engagement in Muir Woods

Anna and Dan are avid hikers. They love to explore the outdoors of California and wanted their engagement session to reflect that. One of their favorite hikes enters Muir Woods from the far end and hiking down. They asked if I was willing to go on the adventure and I totally was!

We left early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The sunlight flitted through the tall redwood branches and peeked around the massive trunks. Anna had brought a fabulous yellow silk dress of her mother’s to wear. Her mother had passed away and she wanted to have a way to honor her memory.

It was quiet, peaceful, and wonderful. We had the forest to ourselves.
